Why is the XR cryotherapy chamber different than others? . . .
Wifi connectivity; modular technology; mobile; monitoring signs to signal a shutdown: oxygen levels, head locations, pulse, temperature, etc.
Why is the XR cryotherapy chamber less expensive? . . .
Better technology doesn't neccessarily mean more expensive. We found a less expensive, better way to build these units that makes them safer than anything on the market and more technologically advanced. Feel free to give us an extra $15,000.
Is there any downtime with the XR cryotherapy chamber? . . .
Minimize down time, wifi connected and self diagnosis so we will know if something needs to be fixed. Chamber requires no assembly saving time and costly set up fees. Just needs a 110V outlet and a supply of liquid nitrogen.
Do you need to send someone out to fix the chamber if somehting goes wrong?. . .
The unit is built modular so anything that could malfunction can be immediately mailed out and changed out with ease. Otherwise we will replace the chamber. In certain instances we will send a technical representative.
What is the warranty? . . .
There is industry leading top to bottom 3-Year Warranty. Cryo Innovations warrants your XR cryotherapy chamber to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for three (3) years from the date of delivery by the original purchaser. Warranty is transferrable to new owner within the 3 year period and Cryo Innovations must be notified 30 days prior to any transfer of equipment. During the warranty period as specified above, Cryo Innovations will repair or replace, at its discretion, any defective system or component. What is fingerprint authorization? . . .
Two fingerprint authorizations are required to operate the XR cryotherapy chamber. One via an approved operator and one via an approved user. All fingerprints will have all the clients health information and their credit card informaiton on file. Trained operators will have passed a certification safety test saved under their fingerprint.
Do I have enough space? . . .
A 10' x 10' space is sufficient for the Recovery XR and a liquid nitrogen dewar or two.
Can the liquid nitrogen dewars be stored outside the building? . . .
Yes, The liquid nitrogen dewars can be stored both inside and outside the building.
Will this be an increase in liability? . . .
General liability policies will already cover this type of unit.
What is the purpose of the head proximity sensor? . . .
The head proximity sensor is a key safety feature of the XR cryotherapy chamber. It ensures that the user's head is above the liquid nitrogen. If the head drops below the top of the chamber, the chamber will promptly shut off.
Can I use the XR cryotherapy chamber alone? . . .
No, an operator is required for each cryo session. The operator and user must both be signed in before proceeding. The operator has to continually press "continue" when prompted.
Do I have to use the Point of Sale system? . . .
Yes, each owner of the XR cryotherapy chamber must use the built-in Point of Sale to keep track of customer accounts. It is a useful feature of the cryotherapy chamber that allows owners to keep track of sessions, view stats, and more.
Does HIPAA apply? . . .
HIPAA- The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act- does not apply. The XR, and all cryotherapy chambers on the market, are not classified as medical equipment. We also do not ask for personal information. We do, however, require users to sign a health and safety waiver to ensure they have no conditions preventing use of cryotherapy.
What's the worst thing that could happen? . . .
If the user does not follow instructions, the worst thing that could happen is contracting frostbite. This is why it's crucial to always cover the hands and feet with warm gloves and boots.
